Odd. I got my bus pass through today, strangely it doesn't say Disabled whereas I thought it would. Secondly on the back it says Bus Pass Valid on terms set out in North Yorkshire Bus Pass Scheme. 1) The local town voluntary car scheme is now co-ordinated at Harrogate, so not so local. However it means the phoneline's open five days a week. So today I spoke to L who has taken my details. It's 40p a mile so will costs around £4 to get to town, (still less than the taxi's which cost £5-£9 depending on company). This also means I can get there ( Read more... )
